L’Associazione Valdostana maestri di sci è un ente non economico dipendente dalla Regione, posto sotto la vigilanza dell’Assessorato regionale competente in materia di turismo, con funzioni di Collegio regionale dei maestri di sci. L’organo rappresenta la categoria dei maestri di sci in Valle d’Aosta e coordina le scuole di sci presenti sul territorio regionale, occupandosi altresì della formazione, dell’aggiornamento e della tutela della figura professionale del maestro di sci.
